What are the benefits?

With Women's Best Cranberry Complex Pro Capsules, we've developed a product that specifically supports urinary tract and bladder health and helps prevent recurring bladder infections or an increased susceptibility to urinary tract issues.

Urinary tract infections are the second most common infectious disease worldwide and affect women significantly more often than men. In most cases, the main trigger is the bacterium Escherichia coli, which attaches to the lining of the urinary tract and causes an infection. Our formula targets this exact mechanism, combining D-mannose with Pacran®, a clinically researched cranberry fruit extract, at the scientifically studied dose of 500 mg.

What makes our formula so special.

D-mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar that is barely metabolized by the body and passes almost unchanged through the kidneys into the urinary tract, where it makes it harder for E. coli bacteria to attach to the bladder wall, allowing them to be naturally flushed out through urine. D-mannose has been studied in several clinical trials in relation to preventing recurring urinary tract infections, with results pointing to a significant reduction in relapse frequency.

Pacran® reinforces this effect through its high concentration of proanthocyanidins (PACs), natural plant compounds from cranberries that prevent bacteria from attaching to the lining of the urinary tract. We deliberately use the clinically researched dose of 500 mg, which studies show delivers the strongest effects. Studies also show that the combination of D-mannose and cranberry is more effective than cranberry alone at preventing recurring urinary tract infections and reducing bacterial levels.

The formula is rounded out by PureWay-C®, a patented form of vitamin C shown in studies to be up to 233% more bioavailable than conventional forms of vitamin C, which additionally supports the immune system and, thanks to its antioxidant properties, can help counteract inflammatory processes.

Why prevention matters more than ever.

Urinary tract infections are often treated with antibiotics, which are frequently sensible and necessary. However, their frequent use contributes to bacteria increasingly developing resistance and no longer responding to the active ingredients used. Studies show that antibiotic-resistant E. coli is already one of the most common causes of hard-to-treat urinary tract infections worldwide. With our product, we offer a natural alternative that helps specifically prevent infections and reduce long-term antibiotic use.

Our Women's Best Cranberry Complex Pro Capsules are suited for anyone who wants to specifically and naturally support their urinary tract health, whether as prevention or for recurring bladder infections. The combination of clinically researched D-mannose, patented Pacran® cranberry fruit extract at a scientifically studied dose, and highly bioavailable PureWay-C® makes Cranberry Complex Pro a product that works on multiple levels, combining the highest standards of effectiveness and quality.

How do I take it?

Take 2 capsules daily after breakfast, or take 1 capsule after breakfast and 1 capsule after dinner.

D-mannose – more than just a simple sugar.

D-mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar that is barely metabolized by the body and passes almost unchanged through the kidneys into the urinary tract, where it can act directly. E. coli bacteria have specialized attachment structures, called fimbriae, which they use to bind to receptors on the bladder lining. D-mannose mimics these receptors and binds to the bacteria's fimbriae before they have a chance to attach to the bladder wall. Once bound, the bacteria can no longer adhere and are naturally flushed out with urine. Studies suggest that this mechanism can significantly reduce the frequency of relapse in recurring urinary tract infections.

Pacran® – clinically researched cranberry fruit extract.

Pacran® is a patented cranberry fruit extract made from the whole cranberry, which gives it an especially broad spectrum of active compounds, most notably proanthocyanidins (PACs), which prevent E. coli bacteria from attaching to the lining of the urinary tract. Studies show that Pacran® can reduce the frequency of recurring urinary tract infections and lower bacterial levels in the urinary tract and that it's more effective in combination with D-mannose than cranberry alone. The 500 mg dose we use corresponds exactly to the amount for which clinical studies document the strongest results.

UTIs affect more people than you would think.

Urinary tract infections are the second most common infectious disease worldwide and affect women significantly more often than men. 50 to 60% of all women experience at least one UTI in their lifetime, while lifetime prevalence in men is around 12 to 14%. The burden can be considerable, especially with recurring infections: sleep problems, pain, and the constant worry of another relapse often take a toll on mental well-being as well. On top of that, rising antibiotic resistance is making treatment increasingly difficult, which makes natural approaches to prevention more important than ever.

Emerging research: the bladder microbiome.

For a long time, the bladder was thought to be sterile. More recent research, however, shows that the bladder has its own microbiome, known as the urobiome, made up of around 137 different bacterial genera. The composition of the urobiome also varies depending on sex, age, and lifestyle.

Early studies suggest that shifts in the balance of the urobiome may influence the risk of urinary tract infections. This field of research is still in its early stages but is developing rapidly and could open up new approaches to preventing and treating urinary tract infections in the future.

The growing problem of antibiotic resistance.

Urinary tract infections are often treated with antibiotics, which are frequently sensible and necessary. However, their frequent use contributes to bacteria, particularly E. coli, increasingly developing resistance. This means the bacteria no longer respond to the antibiotics used, infections become harder to treat, and stronger or alternative drugs are needed, which can in turn drive further resistance.

According to a global study from 2019, antibiotic-resistant E. coli is already one of the most common causes of hard-to-treat urinary tract infections worldwide. Natural compounds like D-mannose and Pacran® work differently: they make it harder for bacteria to attach in the first place, without interfering with their metabolism, and can therefore help prevent infections before they start.

Good habits for healthy urinary tract health.

Alongside supplements like D-mannose and cranberry extract, there are a few simple habits that can further support your urinary tract health. Drinking enough fluids and emptying your bladder regularly helps your body flush bacteria out of the urinary tract. Emptying your bladder after intercourse can also temporarily lower infection risk, as can wearing breathable cotton underwear and avoiding heavily fragranced intimate care products.

All of these approaches follow the same idea: giving the body the best possible conditions from the start, so infections are prevented in the first place rather than needing to be treated after the fact.
